Mervyn was born 10th September 1899. He married Florence Craddy on the 20th August 1927. He was Rector of Hardenhuish until his death in 1961.
Served in Goole, South Yorkshire; Chew Magna, Somerset; Doynton, Glos (Rector); 6 years in the war (Army Padre), in the Middle East, including the 8th Army, and was at Tobruk. Rector of Colerne, Wilts and Padre to RAF Colerne.
