Born in 1918, he trained at Bishop's College, Cheshunt and was ordained in 1955. He was Rector of Hardenhuish from 1962 until 1968. He married Elizabeth 20th March 1940 whilst a regular Officer in the Royal Marines. He was awarded the military OBE in 1952. He had three children, Susan, Alison and Penelope.
He died in 1997, and Elizabeth in 2010. They are both buried here at St. Nicholas.
