John Alec Smith was born in 1937
at Sevenoaks in Kent. He married his first wife, Belanda, in
1966 and they had two children Penelope and Jacqueline. Before
coming to the North Chippenham group of churches, on Wednesday 6th September1989, as
team rector, he was vicar of St. Barnabus and St. Mary, Sheffield. He
was also Rural Dean of Eccleshall.
He left the group of Churches in December 1999. |
